Taco!

a quick dinner that puts hamburger helper to shame. good for dipping, or eating by the scoop.

  • you will need: ground beef, can of corn, diced tomatoes, 5 min rice (recommended), diced onions (optional), taco seasoning, a big bowl (microwave/oven safe), taco rated cshredded cheese mix, and your choice of corn chips.
  • first, cook up your rice via boiling, be sure to drain any remaining water. tranfer rice to another container or temp storage. then, cook your ground beef until reaching food safe temp (65c or 150f), and no pink is visible (do not drain your bowl).
  • next, readd the rice to the bowl, with your canned corn, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and diced onions. (make sure to drain the cans of fluid before adding.)
  • then, add your cheese about 1 cup (8 ounces) or more for those of you like extra cheese. and cook everything for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the internal temperature reaches food safe temp. add your chips on top and serve! (option), for those of you who like a little more heat, add diced jalapenoes during the combination phase!.
